Fast Card is an engaging and strategic card game application I developed using Vue.js. This project demonstrates my ability to create dynamic web applications with a focus on interactivity and user experience. In Fast Card, players face off against a computer opponent, each round receiving a randomly dealt card from a standard deck. The objective is simple: win all the chips from your opponent by strategically bidding and challenging their cards.

Each player begins with 8 chips, and the deck contains cards ranked from Ace to 2. Players decide whether to bid chips or pass (fold) based on the rank of their card. If both players choose to bid, the higher-ranked card wins, and the winner claims the chips wagered by the opponent. If a player decides to fold, they lose 1 chip automatically. The game continues until one player wins all 16 chips, emerging as the ultimate victor.

I used Vue.js’s Options API and Vuex to manage the game state and implement the complex logic required for the game. This project was both a fun and challenging experience, allowing me to sharpen my skills in front-end development and state management. Although I’ve spent several days fixing bugs, there might still be some present. Future revisions will focus on improving functionality and resolving any remaining issues. Fast Card was built as a practice project, and while it may have some quirks, it offers a fun and competitive experience for anyone who enjoys card games.
